No, it isn't a valid analogy at all.
The so-called FREE MS Office for iPad and iPhones running on iOS, is crippled.
Just HOW crippled you'd have to know MS Office and download the new version,
and do the comparison yourself.
It depends on  what you want Office for, doesn't it, as to whether this crippled
version will fit your needs without costing you some unknown amount to
UNcripple it.
People get misled by the word "free" and buy into (believe) that malarky.
